Some Cool Stuff About 'Em

Western Wallflower is a musical duo made up of Jerry and Rachael Cannon based in the mountains of Bozeman, Montana creating a sound that combines the roots of traditional Appalachian folk music and an old Western vibe that they call “Mountain Music”. With influences ranging from the Carter Family and Jimmie Rodgers to Sierra Ferrell and Billy Strings, this duo seamlessly blends country, folk, and bluegrass music while adding their own distinct flavor. Their mission is to connect with others through the universal consciousness of music and uplift those around them with camaraderie and joy that music naturally brings to the table. You can most likely find them playing at your favorite local watering hole somewhere in Montana.

Rachael and Jerry formed Western Wallflower in 2022 while living in Alabama after a stint in Jackson, WY out of a yearning to build community, generate something special, and as a vehicle to express their love of life in the mountains. It wasn’t until the fall of 2024 that the duo started regularly playing and sharing their talents with the Bozeman community, and the team quickly gained traction and recognition throughout the valley.

Western Wallflower has continued on an upward trajectory, and they have become a regular fixture at local bars, weddings, special events, and made their debut this summer on the Main Stage at the famous Pine Creek Lodge in Livingston, MT.

The duo currently has their sights on recording and releasing music in order to further their reach. So, stay tuned and in the meantime, follow them on Instagram for regular updates and whereabouts! Much love!
